The returns on Indonesian banking stocks in 2022 were much lower than in prior years. Identifying the internal and external variables that contributed to the fall in these shares is an obvious challenge. The purpose of this study is to investigate how return on assets (ROA) acts as a mediator between inflation, interest rates, non-performing loans, and stock returns. Thirty businesses make up the sample for this study, which employs testing methodologies including multiple regression and route analysis. Additionally, in order to find the indirect impact, the Sobel test must be used. This study found that stock returns are positively affected by inflation and return on assets, but unaffected by interest rates and non-performing loans. Unlike inflation and interest rates, return on assets can moderate the impact of non-performing loans on stock returns. stock performance. Things that could affect future returns should be carefully considered by investors.</p> Neneng Maesaroh Tiarawati, Dede Hertina Copyright (c) 2024 Neneng Maesaroh Tiarawati, Dede Hertina https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://devotion.greenvest.co.id/index.php/dev/article/view/13227 Wed, 09 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0000 The Influence of Self-Efficacy and Social Support on Adolescent Self-Adjustment in Islamic Boarding Schools https://devotion.greenvest.co.id/index.php/dev/article/view/13194 <p>This research aims to explain the impact of self-efficacy and social support on the adjustment of new female students at the Darul Qur'an Wal-Hadist Sekotong Islamic Boarding School. Financial leverage, profitability, and dividend policy are key variables examined, as they significantly impact a company's financial health and market perception. Financial leverage reflects a company’s reliance on debt financing relative to equity, and the study shows that higher leverage can positively affect company value if managed effectively, thereby increasing returns for shareholders. Profitability, often measured through indicators such as Return on Assets (ROA) or Return on Equity (ROE), also plays a significant role in enhancing company value, as it reflects efficient resource management and attracts investor interest. Additionally, a consistent dividend policy reinforces the company’s reputation and draws investors, contributing positively to company value in the stock market. The findings emphasize that cement subsector companies with balanced leverage, solid profitability, and a consistent dividend policy tend to perform better in terms of company value, providing essential insights for stakeholders in optimizing strategies to maximize company value.</p> Hanaf Qowiyyul Adib, Marlina Widiyanti, Kemas Muhammad Husni Thamrin, Isni Andriana Copyright (c) 2024 Hanaf Qowiyyul Adib, Marlina Widiyanti, Kemas Muhammad Husni Thamrin, Isni Andriana https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://devotion.greenvest.co.id/index.php/dev/article/view/19685 Tue, 29 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0000 The Effect of Applying A Problem-Based Learning Model Using Google Earth on Understanding Hydrometeorological Disaster Mitigation at SMAN 1 Tanjung Palas Tengah https://devotion.greenvest.co.id/index.php/dev/article/view/20679 <p>This study aims to reveal whether there is a positive influence in the application of the problem-based learning model using google earth media on the understanding of hydrometeorological disaster mitigation in class XI of SMA N1 Tanjung Palas Tengah.
